Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in large parts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.
A number of civilians were hurt while inhabitants in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced interruptions to water systems, according to local authorities.
Simultaneously, a minor was killed in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southern area, based on information from area administrators.
Russian forces has increased strikes on energy facilities over recent weeks, while the country's government has called for "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.
"The necessity is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the US, the EU and the G7 - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing restrictions," he wrote in a social media post.
Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty missiles struck energy facilities, describing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.
The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to repair systems.
A barrage of missiles struck energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.
Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, according to local officials.
Area administrators said the city experienced heavy assaults overnight. A young boy lost their life and several individuals were hurt.
The attacks follow evenings of air raids in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of invading troops.
All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to detect.
Government officials told reporters that Moscow was purposely seeking to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting gas facilities.
Officials stated technical personnel and government agencies were preparing for further attacks.
